A Brief History

Everett P. “Jake” Jacobs and his son Delton Jacobs opened Jacobs Realty, Inc. on May 31, 1972. Jake built his first home in 1950 and began buying and selling real estate shortly there after.

Delton graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Real Estate in 1974 and has closed over 2,000 real estate transactions since.

Today, both are Certified Real Estate Broker Managers, Certified Residential Specialists and Graduates of the REALTOR® Institute. Currently they are actively involved in Real Estate, Property Management and new construction.

Amanda Stone, Delton’s daughter, joined Jacobs Realty, Inc. Property Management in 1995. She obtained her real estate license in 2004 and now works as one of the company’s property managers. Jenna Fleming came on board in 2006 and works as the assistant property manager and leasing agent.  Caryn McClanahan joined the property management team in 2008.  She works as a leasing agent and office assistant.

As the property management team, Amanda, Jenna & Caryn work hard to ensure that all residents have a great place to call home.
